The free version is free forever. Every Pro feature is free for 30 days, with no card.
Your files are yours. One Clear Reader claims no rights to them.
Changed your mind after paying? Ask within 30 days for a full refund.
Please don’t resell, share or break the licence checks.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and Northlight Group Pty Ltd, Suite 12, Level 4, 148-160 Albert Rd, South Melbourne VIC 3205, Australia. By downloading or using One Clear Reader, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal licence to use One Clear Reader on Macs you own or control. You can’t transfer it to someone else. A Pro licence works on up to 3 of your Macs at a time. You can move it from one Mac to another.

3. Plans, trial and billing

Free: reading, paste-a-path and file search, with no time limit.
Trial: every Pro feature for 30 days. No card needed. When it ends, you keep the free version.
Pro monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Founder Lifetime: one payment for Pro with no end date, including future Pro features. It’s offered at launch only, while places last.
Prices are shown before you pay. We may change prices for future billing periods. We’ll tell you first.

4. Refunds

If One Clear Reader isn’t right for you, email hello@oneclearreader.com within 30 days of paying and we’ll refund you in full. This is on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which this policy doesn’t limit.

5. Your files

You keep all rights to the files you open or edit. The app processes them on your Mac to show and save them. Please keep backups of important work. When you edit a Word file, the app saves a backup copy first, but no app can promise it will never lose data.

6. Fair use

Don’t copy, resell or share the app or licence keys.
Don’t reverse engineer the app or get around its licence checks, except where the law allows it.
Don’t use One Clear Reader to break the law.

7. Our responsibility

We work hard to make One Clear Reader reliable, and we fix problems we find. Our goods and services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those, and as far as the law allows, the app is provided as it is, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

8. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time. We may end a licence that breaks these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Nothing here limits consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
