Leave notes
- Select any text on the page.
- Choose Add note in the small bubble, or press ⌥⌘N.
- Type what should change and press ⌘Return.
- Your notes are highlighted on the page. The count shows on the Review button.
Tip. Free keeps 3 notes per document. Pro has no limit.
Send them back
- Click Review, then Copy as prompt.
- Paste into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. The prompt quotes each part and your note, and asks the AI to fix the file.
- When the AI saves the file, the page refreshes. Notes on text that changed show This text has changed.
Share your notes as a file
- In Review, choose Save as file. It suggests a name like plan.notes.md, next to the document.
- Send both files to a colleague, or keep them together in a shared folder.
- When they open the document in One Clear Reader, it offers to show your notes on their page.
Tip. The notes file is plain, readable Markdown, so anyone can read it without the app.
Let Claude Code ask you for a review
- The agent bridge lets Claude Code open a file in One Clear Reader and get your notes back with no copy and paste.
- In Terminal, add it once: claude mcp add reader-bridge -- node "/path/to/agent-bridge/src/server.mjs" (run npm install in that folder first).
- Then tell Claude: Write the plan to plan.md and ask me to review it in the reader.
- Leave your notes and choose Copy as prompt. Claude receives them straight away.
